| Wolf Point's Hottest Chili Weekend in June |
| Wolf Point's Hottest Chili Weekend in June, sponsored by the Optimist Club of Wolf Point,
is held the first weekend in June each year with an open competition chili cookoff in
Sherman Park, downtown Wolf Point. Chili cooks from Alberta, Saskatchewan, Montana,
and North Dakota have competed for the $725 in prize money offered. Prizes offered are
$300 for first place, $200 for second, $100 for third, $75 for Best Booth, and $50 People's
Choice.
In addition to the cookoff there is entertainment in the gazebo throughout the day as well as games and contests for young and old alike. A carnival adds to the festivities and runs from Thursday to Sunday during the cookoff. A limited number of commercial booth spaces are available for the cookoff each year.
